iPhone App: Birdsong

Listening to your iPod on your iPhone, and want to let the world know what you're singing along to live? Birdsong can tweet what you're listening to with the touch of a single button.

There's an autotweet option that watches for title or artist changes and tweets for you. Birdsong is available on the iPhone App Store.

The Ruby language and the Ruby on Rails framework is our preferred way of delivering bespoke web applications to you. Ruby's flexibility lets us deliver applications faster and Rails is now five years old and powers some of the largest sites on the web.

We have been involved in the heart of the Extreme Programming / Agile community since 1999 (when we still talked about Lightweight Process because Agile hadn't been coined yet). We've worked with companies like ObjectMentor, ThoughtWorks and eXoftware and enabled clients like Egg, JPMorgan and Coca-Cola to become more Agile.

Perhaps you already have a website and would like a mobile client for it? Perhaps you just have a really good idea you'd like to get on the AppStore but don't have the delivery experience. We can help you with applications for the iPhone OS platform.

Cardboard Software can sell you an application, or build you an application. We'd prefer to help you and your team build it yourselves through coaching or training.

Development

We use an Agile delivery process called XP, which is just enough process to deliver running, tested features every two weeks. We prefer to build in Ruby, Java or Cocoa, but we've delivered software in anything from FORTRAN to .NET.

Consultancy

Our staff have provided training or coaching for clients like Egg, JPMorgan, Standard Life and Coca-Cola. We can customise a training schedule for you, or provide a consultant to work directly with your developers, managers, testers and analysts.

Apps

A small, but growing part of our business is native applications for your iPhone or iPod Touch. We have several apps already available in the iTunes Appstore, and a couple more in the works, so we hope you'll find something here useful.
